Wordtracker
Founded by Andy and Mike Mindel in 1997, Wordtracker is the industry’s leading keyword research tool. It allows website owners like you, and digital marketers like us, to identify the keywords and phrases that people are using when they search for products and services online.
We’re really proud of our partnership with Wordtracker. We’re the only agency that they work with. We provide them with the real-life experiences and feedback that helps them decide which direction to go in. In return, they provide us with the kind of knowledge and inside information that helps us keep your campaigns one step ahead of your competitors.
Wordtracker is practically a household name in the US and they have published lots of online marketing books and guides for the US market, so we had always assumed they were an American company. We were surprised to discover that they were in fact British.
How we met Wordtracker
We first met them in 2007 at a trade show, although Ian had been using the Wordtracker tool for over 5 years before that. It turned out we shared the same beliefs and way of thinking. Wordtracker liked our approach and completely agreed with our focus on conversion.
Wordtracker are Google AdWords experts and had been running their own campaigns in-house, so it was a huge privilege when they asked us to manage their AdWords campaigns for them. And our partnership with them has grown from there.
1upsearch & Wordtracker Working Together
We now work closely with Wordtracker in lots of different ways…
Training
We’ve developed comprehensive PPC and SEO training, ideal for small companies who want to run their own AdWords campaigns, and for agencies that want their staff to have a higher understanding of Search marketing.
Product development
We help Wordtracker develop and test new keyword research tools. As we use new tools in real-life situations, we are in a position to give in-depth feedback which goes towards moulding the version for general release.
Ebooks
Together with the experts at Wordtracker, we have written several Search Marketing guides, special reports and Ebooks, including the most recent ‘how to’ guide on Google AdWords.
