The official Google Analytics Blog has recently posted that Google is increasing the capacity of the Analytics system allowing more users to obtain an account. This is great news for website owners.

Google Analytics is a great way to collect and analyse visitior data. Rather than the unfriendly “techie” style statistics provided with most website hosting, Analytics allows you to make informed decisions regarding you websites design and layout.

For example by measuring a pages Bounce Rate you can quickly assess which pages are delivering the right message to visitors from search engines. Pages with a high bounce rate (visitors leave the site without exploring other pages) shows copy and layout needs to be changed in order to deliver a clear message.
